Finish 2020 Strong

Becoming a mom changed me...physically and mentally.

Having a little girl made me really realize the work I needed to put into myself.

She was just 5.5 months old.

I hated what I saw in the mirror.

I was obsessed with getting to a certain number on the scale.

I was willing to spend hours working out and finding a “diet” to reach my goals.

I had no problems tearing myself down.

Nothing about this was healthy.

Nothing about this mindset was sustainable.

Nothing about this was to create a healthy lifestyle.

SHE DESERVED A BETTER MOM. As a little girl who could experience the same obstacles and struggles with body image, self-love, and confidence, I needed to do better.

I realized I needed to love myself and love the body God gave me. I needed to find a healthy lifestyle for my entire family and not just a quick fix. I needed to lead by example. I needed to speak to myself like I loved myself. I needed to find a healthy balance. I needed to work on myself mentally and spiritually just as much (if not more) as I did physically.

I’m so grateful for the tools I have found to take care of my health and well-being. To love myself daily.

I’m not throwing in the towel with 2020. I’m ready to finish this year feeling my best, loving myself, and finding joy in the journey. I’m not waiting until 2021. The body God gave me deserves love NOW. My family deserves my best NOW. Our health and well-being is depending on it.
